Imagine waking up each day and thinking kind thoughts about yourself. What impact might that have on a daily, weekly, lifetime basis? Is it even possible?

My work with clients, wider research and my own hard won, direct experience has shown me, this. When we are kind to ourselves, good things flow more easily. There seems to be a strong link between kindness to self, productivity and happiness.

Self compassion could just be the beginning, the middle and the end of what we are all here to learn.

Thoughts become behaviours, behaviours become habits, habits become a life time. But how can we begin to create positive change in this regard? And how can we bring kind awareness to our moment to moment thoughts and feelings, even when they are NOT kind?

Grab a cup of tea, or go for a walk and listen to our first podcast on Self Compassion for some thought provoking tips. I’m interviewing Louise Winters at Meaning Conference in Brighton, a great one to put in the diary.

“Meaning Conference is the annual gathering for people who believe business can and must be a force for positive change in our dynamic and volatile world”.

Excuse the sound quality, next ones will be clearer and hosted on our new Soundcloud channel.
